It's easy to enjoy a cup of hot chocolate with our Raw Cosmos Hot Chocolate!! We are excited to offer one of our favorite at home snuggle treats! It just hits the nostalgic spots of a time as a kid during the holidays (or when I was being bribed). I knew something amazing was going to happen, like it was a cup of possibility for the imagination. Or maybe that safe space, when even the adults are in a comfort zone so everyone just vibes. Either way this recipe brings me to a happy place, and we hope it can do the same for you too!
1 cup milk of your choice (something with a higher fat content comparable to whole milk is best)
3 tablespoons Raw Cosmos Hot Chocolate
Optional: Cinnamon, Whipped Cream, Marshmallows or some other amazing addition
Add milk & Raw Cosmos Hot Chocolate to a smaller saucepan, or bigger if you're making more than one serving. Heat up slowly, do not scorch the bottom or boil the milk. Let the chocolate melt gently and savor the smells to create the anticipation for the final cup. When you're ready, pour the chocolaty mixture into your favorite mixing cup. I have noticed a chocolate chunk or two as I pour, these are delicious little experiences of joy as you drink.
This would be the time to add your optional ingredients if you would like. Personally a little whipped cream & a small sprinkle of cinnamon is good for me.
I remember the hot chocolates we had were from swiss miss or something like that, never homemade from scratch with amazing ingredients. Maybe a loooong time ago the ingredients were not something to worry over but these days you need to be aware for your family!
